BRIDGE Stands for:

Bringing Research, Innovation, and Development for Global Health Excellence

BRIDGE Health Nexus is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Ethiopia, established in May 2024 by a team of seasoned professionals with extensive expertise in clinical medicine, public health, research, global health, organizational leadership, quality improvement, monitoring and evaluation, health informatics, data analysis, software development, and policy analysis.
We act as a bridge, connecting volunteer researchers, innovators, and developers to tackle global health challenges through collaborative research, resource development, capacity building, mentorship, QI program implementation, and innovative health solutions.
We also plan and manage professional training on key clinical and public health research and implementation science topics, offering tailored delivery options, needs assessments, and post-training evaluations, including impact assessments.
With our expert teams and volunteer members, we support institutions and programs that share our goals, addressing health disparities and improving the health of underserved communities. We assist health facilities with quality improvement project development and implementation, situational analyses, and monitoring and evaluation.

Why BRIDGE-Health Nexus?

Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) face unique global health challenges, including the double burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases, gaps in research knowledge, and limited quality improvement (QI) initiatives. BRIDGE-Health Nexus emerges as a transformative solution, fostering collaboration and teamwork to address these pressing issues.
BRIDGE stands for Bringing Research, Innovation, and Development for Global Excellence in Health, reflecting our commitment to advancing evidence-based practices, innovations, and impactful change. We empower junior researchers, innovators, and early-career healthcare professionals through training, mentorship, fellowships, and QI-MEAL (Quality Improvement, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) projects to uplift underserved communities and achieve excellence in global healthcare.
